What is arkady arkanov?

Arkady Arkanov (born Arkady Abramovich Shteinberg) was a Russian writer, playwright, and screenwriter. He was born on July 22, 1930, in Moscow, Russia. He graduated from the State Institute of Theatrical Arts in Moscow in 1955. He started his career as a writer in the early 1960s, writing plays, scripts for television and films, and novels.

Arkanov's plays were known for their satirical and political edge and were often critically acclaimed. He was a prolific writer, and his works include The Ideal Match (1961), The Laundry (1962), and The Devil's Diary (1962). He also wrote scripts for films, including The Diamond Arm (1968) and Beware of the Car! (1966).

In addition to his work as a writer, Arkanov was a prominent literary critic and was an editor for several years. He also worked as a professor at Moscow State Pedagogical University from 1994 until his death in 2016. Arkanov was a member of the Union of Soviet Writers, and in 1994, he was awarded the State Prize of the Russian Federation for his contribution to literature and theater.
